We've Rebuilt the Website

The short version
The Phatstix site is new. Every ingredient has its own page, the claims show their working, and the Journal is properly a journal. Here is what changed and what is not done yet.

The site you are on is new. The old one went up quickly, around one product, and it had been creaking for a while. There are three balms now plus the pins, and I had run out of sensible places to put anything.

Here is what has changed.

Every ingredient has a page

There are nine things in The Balm: beeswax, sunflower oil, jojoba, sweet almond, grapeseed and raspberry seed oils, and shea, cocoa and mango butters. Each one has a page now telling you what it is, where we buy it and what it is doing in there.

People ask me this constantly and I have been answering it one email at a time for two years.

The numbers show their working

We ran a consumer trial in January. Thirty-four people, self-reported, not a clinical study, and that sentence sits on the page next to the percentages rather than in a footnote at the bottom.

Same with the size. 30g against a standard 4.25g stick is 7.06 times, so we say seven times and the sum is there if you want to check it.

Fun Phatz is properly a journal now

It had about nine posts on it and half of those were from launch week. It is now where I write about how the balm got made, what went wrong doing it, and anything else worth saying.

The pins

Cheekbonez has his own section and you can turn the pin around in 3D before you buy it. Nobody needed this. I enjoyed building it.

What is not done

One & Done and Cherry Stoned are being reformulated, so those two pages are waitlists instead of buy buttons. There is a separate post explaining that.

A few things are still rough and I will keep going at them. If you find something broken, or just plain wrong, email hello@phatstix.net and it comes straight to me.
